I just joined the ZL-1 club :)
Hello Everyone:
I just ordered a 2018 ZL-1 today, paid in full! Nightfall Grey Metallic, with the auto trans, CF hood and dash, and PDR. Tentative wait time is about 8 weeks, and the next time I hear from the dealer he will have a build date for me. I got a smoking deal from a dealer in Santa Fe, after shopping the deal by email with all the dealers in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas. I really hate the dealer experience, with the pushy salesmen and the nagging sense you are being bent over and screwed somehow. The email strategy kept them at arm's length until I got the best deal I could. List price was $68,590, including delivery and gas guzzler tax, per the Chevy configurator. They gave it to me for $64,500, and based on my conversations with other dealers that could not beat that, they took a big loss. They quoted me the price, but had forgotten to include the PDR, but they honored the price anyway, so I am very satisfied. I'm stoked !! Limited mods to come: Ported throttle body, catch can, blacked out tail lights, and paint protection film on the entire car. Oh, and a radar detector! LOL !!! Mark R. Albuquerque, NM |

You won't be disappointed! It's a great car and you'll love it. I got distracted during a league tennis match yesterday just looking at mine in the parking lot, and I've had it for six months!

Well, the price was completely satisfactory to me, and considering I got 6 price quotes, I'm good with it. There are not too many dealers in New Mexico to compete with one another. There is always someone who will get a better deal, I'm sure. If there was one on the lot that had sat for a while, the price would probably go lower for a cash buyer.
