I set up the 1st guage to read: (pic may not show)

IAT 1 Generally 1 to 3 degrees of what your radio temp says basically air entering the motor

IAT 2 This is the reading that everyone goes nuts about when they have a chiller and they speak of 40 degree IATs. If your exchanger is doing its job it should be with in 10 degrees of ambient temp or IAT 1

IAT 3 (what tuners generally use for timing) also know as MAT this will also be the one that sky rockets for you guys over spinning the oem blower if you see 150s you need cooling mods!

HI side fuel pressure

Ethanol content

Low side or ift pump I have replaced this with IAT 3

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, there are so many settings on this thing! Does anyone know of a good source to find out what all of those acronyms mean?

Ed could you point me in the direction of that “boost” setting in the top right?

1st under settings select GM vehicles and let it restart..

2nd next choose your layout 2, 4, 6, ect on how many to monitor

3rd look for pressures its all in the pressure category. there is a selection for BOOST/PSI under the pressures category. If you have a zl1 it will read the boost it will not go negative like a vacuum only positive! if you have a SS then good luck lol There are also MAP pressures you don't need that unless you have and SS and then there is no guarantee that will work unless you have the right Tmap installed and if that fails Banks sends a pressure sensor that goes from mechanical to digital to read boost for an SS.

4th some of the IAT might be in the Temp section..

Not sure if this will help..

I run MAT, ethanol %, ECT, boost, ECT, IAT1, IAT2

A bit off topic… what is a normal IAT3?

What is the significance of watching the ECT?

There is no normal. It changes with ambient Temps and speed. Anything below 130.

It’s good to monitor all Temps. Your dash gauges are dummy gauges.
