The cars you have listed there have been on constraints for 2 to 3 weeks now. I know at least 3 people on these forums who have posted they have received their cars this week. Many others, including myself, have had their orders entered into the GM system and are either being built or about to be built. From what I am seeing on here, Camaros seem to be moving along the assembly line at the best clip they have all year, and some deliveries are happening within 3 weeks after the car has moved off the production line.

I've said it before and I will say it again - your dealer (and any info they are giving you) should not be trusted and you need to find someone else. A month ago you were still complaining that you didn't have an order number, and that was six months after you gave them the specs you wanted. They are either screwing with you specifically, or they suck in general. Go elsewhere, or be prepared to continue to complain.

I ordered mine mid-August, it was built Oct 19th, and I expect to take delivery early next week. Many others are in a similar situation, and lots of cars are getting built per the big order thread. That means your issues are not GM's fault - it means, to say it one more time, YOUR DEALER SUCKS.

I was just talking to the local dealer about 2022 Silverado's. He said they do not plan to see any of the new '22 Silverado's (with the redesigned interior) until maybe spring of 2022. When they do come it will be very limited he said. So if the Silverado's are going to be very scarce, I can only imagine what the Camaro's will be.

Are all cars getting built though or just the high end builds? Who has taken delivery after just two months or so as you appear to be that ordered a 1LT with the I4 or a V6? Id like to know. Seems like they can "crank out" heavily optioned SS cars and ZL1's but not much else.

I was told I have about a five or six month wait for an allocation for a ZLE. I didn't really shop around for sooner availability though because with winter on the way I don't really care.

Mikey, I don't know what to tell ya bud...The V6 constraint, like other constraints, sucks. That being said, get over it. Camaros are being built. They may not be the version you want, but many are being built and they are arriving at dealerships across the US. You can take a look at the inventory yourself if you go to the Chevy website and build a Camaro (lets you see the 22 year models if you do this) or just select the brose inventory option on the main page. There are just as many lower model Camaros as there are SS models.

I put in my order at the beginning of September expecting to get my car some time around March or April. GM has somehow been building enough Camaros to move that date up to what looks like mid to late December. Did I get lucky and not have to deal with constraints? Yes. Other people are just as lucky as I am, and you could be too. Your choices at the moment are to wait to get the exact trim and options you want, compromise to get a Camaro sooner, or just don't get a Camaro. Hell, you may even find a Camaro that fits your requirements on the website. All of this has been explained in multiple threads to you. But instead, for the last 2 weeks, you have been playing the victim card because you can't get a V6 and then be salty about being the victim.

From what I have seen and read, there were 20 or so ZL1's that were made this week even though there is a constraint on them (think its because of the carbon-fiber spoiler). Now, were those past 2000 status when the constraint was put on the ZL1, I am not sure, but it sounds like there is a slight trickle of production for them going on.

Also, the dealer I ordered through just got a 2021 V6 1LT in today, and they do not do ADM. Yeah, it's in Texas and not New York, but it shows that they ARE out there for sure, even if you have to "settle" for a 2021 instead of a built-to-order 2022.

Yep, supposedly that fancy squat plane is holding up ZLE production. Not a huge boner for me, traded mine in for a different color and would be paying winter storage fees otherwise. I can understand being antsy though.

Maybe I misinterpreted what you said...guess I don't know anything.

Or maybe it's because you write in gibberish instead of English. Don't blame me for not understanding you when you don't proof read... I hope you make more sense when talking with your dealer - or maybe you talk to them the same way you post here, and that's why they can't/don't/won't help you.

If that's indeed what your dealer is getting for allocations it's crazy but I have to wonder if they don't have a good market for Camaro's and Chevy knows this. If they can't get an allocation your order will be 1100 forever. Allocations are on the monthly if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe JoeP in this thread can help track if some of these orders have been placed or not.
