Hello guys,

I gave my deposit for a 2022 V6 1LT 6 speed camaro at my local dealership on the 12/08/21.

Is it normal that I dont have # of order yet? The salesman keep telling my order is on 1100 code.... but what else I can do to get the # of order ?

BTW , CANADIAN order and i don't care to get delivery during winter because i'll drive it all year long (i already got my Blizzak WS80 ready in my shed).

If you're at 1100, there is an order number and the dealer is not giving it to you for whatever reason. It's a game some of them like to play (or the salesman has no idea of how the process works) - I had to keep bugging mine to get my order number - I finally got mine by saying I wanted to review what they had input into the system and they sent me a printout of the Workbench order, the order number is right at the top.

If all else fails, talk to the sales manager of the dealership to get it. Once you have it, you can use the chat function on Chevy's website to get status updates. Joe in the 'big thread' won't be able to help you since it's a Canadian order and he can't see status on those.

This thread has some great info on the order process, and gives you a suggested template for using the Chevy Chat as well in the first post.

Also, you should know that there is a constraint on all V6 builds due to an engine supplier issue, last I saw it posted here it was on constraint into November at least.

Glad to help! And I hope you're right, but we'll see how the supply chain shortages affect that date. Most of me wants it ASAP, but the fiscally responsible side realizes that the longer it takes, the more money I can bank in the gas, tire, and accessories fund!
