They aren't discontinued, only the upgrade package is. You may be able to get the two lamps separately, part numbers are 84136775 and 84136776.

Yes.

84136777 was the part number for the discontinued set, 84136775 and 84136776 are the individual lights, see pics below.

Now gm wouldn't be gm if there weren't a weird twist here, for some reason the set I bought in 2018 has box labels that start with a 6 instead of an 8 (see last pic), but those part numbers are invalid according to every resource I checked, so the stickers may have been misprinted.

So, the correct part numbers are those that I listed. They may also get discontinued soon, since 2018 ZL1 1LEs that they were primarily made for are going out of bumper-to-bumper, which may be a point where gm would want to just retain a minimal stock for repairs and no longer order new parts. However, that is all just conjecture on my part.

ACS composites has a set with the center light that you can buy. I just bought some. The only thing I didn’t like was that I had to order led reverse bulbs, with resistor, from diode dynamics.

Great advice! I called the parts department and was told 84136777 was discontinued, but they verified that 84136775 and 84136776 were indeed the smoked individual left and right sides and were able to order them that way for me.

Much appreciated! Unfortunately, it ended up being a little more expensive than ordering as a package, thanks GM

For anyone that is interested, I just looked at the ACS composites website and their price is within a few dollars of what I paid the GM parts store for the two tail lights and 3rd brake light ordering them individually.

you're welcome! I am glad that you found out they are competitively priced with GM. I am going to attempt to attach a photo with this. this picture does not have my lens lined up correctly with the bumper guide either which has since been fixed.

I have a set for sale. I took them off my 2017 2SS. I also have a few other things off the car for sale. I have them on facebook marketplace. If you are interested let me know I can send you a list of what I have.
