Regardless of the line type, good to know the track and have a plan at the end of the straights if you lose brakes.

Looks like he tried to downshift to bleed off speed but made the decision to square up the front for impact into the deep tire wall maybe due to the car in front or not wanting to risk a lateral impact on a less protected area of the wall if he tried to turn and scrub off speed.

He definitely aborted the turn in and went back to the left to square it up. Bravo...

Thanks for all the info. Sounds like the biggest improvement of the factory brakes is upgrading to a quality dot 4 fluid, the factory lines are good for most people, but stainless or carbon fiber lines would also be an improvement.

So when going to the site, I see ZL1 Le and SS 1LE. Same kit fits standard ZL1? And is it readily available or is there a wait?

Unfortunately they are horrible as customer service I placed an order a little while back when there website was working and said in stock and charged me. After a couple weeks no response I emailed them and noting. I PM'D them on here and finally a partner of the company not the owner wrote back that they where busy and he would pass the message. Short story next day order was canceled and my money was returned.
