Bigger is better. I would have put that in my 69 SS 396, but I sold that car too soon.

Is the any chance a small cam, low C/R version will go into production for trucks as a diesel-capable alternative? Why would they put effort into a carbed LS looking intake?

Remember ...

Remember when this GM owned 3rd gen was running around with the gen6 test cars? It was sent out to have a ZZ632/1000 crate engine put in it for SEMA.

Kind of cool to be able to see what it was and some of the history surrounding the car as they discuss it during the build. Video link below
