80/84 mm Soler Throttle Body and intake problems

I bought the 80/84 mm throttle body for my 18 v6. I have the Cold Air Inductions intake that was on the original 72mm throttle body. I can't get the intake to stay on because I'm clamping a rubber cupler to a rubber intake. Any ideas on how to make work?

Are you saying the coupler is to small?

No. What I'm saying is the coupler is rubber and the intake is rubber so it's not holding.

Ok gotcha. I see how that could be a problem now. I have a Soler TB, but with the AFE cold air intake which has a plastic tube, so there's no issue like that. Other than replacing the tube and/or coupler I'm not sure. I don't think changing the clamp would matter much, but maybe even a wider clamp could help some

I'm guessing the rubber intake is designed to bolt directly to the TB or something like that. If there is not enough flex or diameter to get it to bolt directly to the TB you will need a short metal tube/ring to bridge the gap and or give support to the rubber intake so it doesn't just squish down when you clamp on it. Looks like the coupler might even need a slight bend to it because they don't seem to line up quite right
