Flow tie is probably a big deal to change. It is likely integrated into the fuel economy / hp ratings for the SS. Also, since the flow tie is integrated into the bumper strip, tooling COULD be complicated, depending on how the manufacturing process is laid out. If it is a question of removing a tool insert, no big deal. But if it involves re-engineering a mold....big deal. Making it body color might not be that big a deal, but in reality, I'm sure the idea of body colored has already been considered and set aside.

The SS looks like a helmet in the front......

Oddly enough, the grill treatment is about the only thing I like about the Charger.

It will grow on people and Camaro enthusiasts will purchase it. It probably looks better in person. The SS model at least, the LT model looks like it was designed for older people. It will not compete with Mustang sales however, Americans just love the Mustang no matter what Ford does to it. The new GT PP looks good in person but the lower trims look horrible, lol. I've seen plenty of them on the streets already.

I thought the point of the SS was that it was supposed to look cooler than the lower trim levels, not uglier.

The hood reminds me of a Mustang and the bumper reminds me of (as has been stated repeatedly) a Charger.

Yet another vote for the bow tie placement looking absurdly out of place.

If anyone(dealer) wants to sell me a refreshed SS, I will give you my 2015(low milage) and 2,000 dollars on top of it. Want a 6 speed with performance exhaust 1SS. In Hyper Blue, white or metallic black.

A power bump could save this refresh...they may need to to improve sales...there's still time, G.M.!

Opened the garage, gazed at my '18, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Hell no! What the hell is Chevy thinking. All I can say is I’m glad I bought my 17. Trying to see how ugly they can get away with. The front is, well, I just do not have words. And the rear, I’m sorry but they blew it.

Wow! I’m very disappointed. What are they trying to do? Kill the model completely. Kids my like this refresh. Looks like a “hot wheel” or something. However, people that have the money to buy one will probably look elsewhere. I know for a fact, I’m done!

Little better but not much. Why can’t they just leave $hit alone!

I hear that! The age group that just might think these look good will not be able to afford them. Hey Chevy! You really blew it this time... but there is a bright side, the previous models will be more popular. And oh yeah, I’ll just wait for the 12 Speed. Time for this $hit to end also! Man...
