How long are you planning on keeping your 6 Gen

Hi Camaro Fam,

I had a random question that came to mind, how long are you guys planning on keeping your 6 Gen? Did you buy it to ride it till the wheels fall off? Did you buy it for a future investment..meaning you bought the car to put few miles on it and trade it in for a bigger upgrade maybe a C8 or CTS-V/ATS-V..let me know what you think? I brought the car since it was a dream car plus i got a good deal on it but now thinking about the deal I wondered about trading it for ZL1 or ZL1-1LE but I know I won't do it when i can supercharge it for less money than getting it upgraded.http://www.camaro6.com/forums/images...es/biggrin.gif

When I'm dead and gone, my kids can decide what to do with it. So I guess it depends on how much longer I'm around

I plan to keep it until the 7th gen comes out, or hit the lottery and buy an Aston Martin. Whichever comes first.

I tend to get bored with cars pretty quickly and get the itch to buy something new. 2 things may convince me to keep this one: One, I'm getting to the age now where swapping cars to often could affect my post retirement lifestyle, and two, my wife says we're never getting rid of the Camaro! So, it looks like we might keep the Camaro for a long time!

I plan on keeping it for as long as gasoline powered vehicles are still a thing... or until I get forced to sell it you never know... so I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest.

I've never owned the 5th gen but liked the style of it. Since the 6gen my first camaro it will be hard for me to get rid of it but in the same breath it hard not upgrading when you see zl1's and zl1-1le at Cars n Coffee. lol

Stoner; just dream about the Aston Martin and a trophy wife.. A LOT cheaper in everyway. The maintenance on either would drive you to drink..
Love the Camaro; planning on keeping it till the grandkids MAKE me give it up.

Pretty much agree with everyone else on keeping it a long time. Heading into retirement in the next year or two and want to keep this one up and running until my driving skills fall off. Wine country/regional touring is what I'll be doing with this car when I retire.

I've always had a concept of what I wanted out of a sports car and this model, with a E-force supercharger on it, finally gets me there. Some suspension tweaking and I'll have met my design goals.

Also, the 2016 is the last year that tuning software allows relatively easy access to the ECM.
