Be sure to take note of how it drives. Make sure it has no symptoms of lot rot.
remember! it's just a car,and they ain't gonna stop buildin' them.(or maybe they will if it doesn't sell at some point).that said, you can count on the dealer to NOT give 'em away! as mentioned, the car IS floor planned,so just do a little detective work ,and determine EXACTLY how much the dealer "cuts the check"
for the car,and negotiate from there!..also keep in mind, the dealer STILL has "holdback" AND advertising fees that can give a dealer a "hidden" profit, along with their "f**ked up" doc fee which is ALSO a hidden profit!..good luck start playin' "hard ball"..just sayin'

I would lowball the heck out of ANY leftover 2010 on the lot if I were in the market. If they say No then you move on to the 2011's and 2012's. It is time to move them and you are probably one of the few clients even interested. Don't take the first offer they throw at you...offer very low and stick to your guns.

Look at it this way: YOU ARE THE FIRST PERSON INTERESTED IN THE CAR SINCE 2010!!

No, not shouting...just hoping the dealer can hear me to help you out!

I wouldn't buy it unless you get the car for what the car books for, because if you pay more than what its worth in 2 years when you want to turn around and sell it your f*cked because you will have to fork out the negative equity.

The salesman is a friend, and is giving me supplier pricing (which I don't qualify for) and a further discount along with the $1000 loyalty offer, as well as what I asked for on my trade-in. It amounts to about $4100 off the MSRP. I wish someone could tell me that this is a deal that I should jump on to.
I just ordered a 2012 2SS/RS with a sticker of $38450. Got it at $36000 and had $1500 off in loyalty.

So that is $3950 off MSRP on a new "how I want it" 2012 Camaro with no trade-in.

So ... is he still your friend?
