I just received my gift package as well !

I noticed you are also located in Canada - my guess is that Chevy is distributing the hot wheels gift package to Canadian buyers now (US customers received their boxes first).

I was REALLY happy to get mine. I've spent hours trying to get it sorted out with GM Canada who knew nothing about it and simply said it was only an American promotion and Canadians were not included.

So, THANK YOU Chevy for such an awesome gift - it was a really cool and thoughtful touch to complement a fantastic car - I'm really enjoying mine !!

Awesome to see our northern brethren getting their commemorative packages for the 50HW.

Wish they’d done that for the 50th Anniversary owners as well.

I'm still anxiously awaiting my gift package in the States from a Feb purchase. Good to see they are still sending them out.

Curious to hear if people are actually driving these cars? I have about 2500 miles on mine. Who has the highest and lowest mile ones currently?

I Daily mine, but my commute is only 2 miles a day. I've got just over 7200 miles. I am heading on a road trip up to Michigan this weekend so that will add some miles.

I got a crack in the front lower air dam on my car and was sent a replacement and the color does not match. Can anyone confirm if the ground effects on these cares are painted? I assumed they were cast in this color and want to make sure I am getting the correct piece to replace the factory part with. The part they sent me does say paint to match, but no clue how they would match that as I don't know how you would get the paint code...

Sure does not look painted to me..

Are you talking about the chin splitter on the front? If so then yeah they aren’t sent in ready to be painted. It’s a metallic flake color I think. If I knew the color name I could get you the code. Not sure what the splitter color is on the current Hot Wheels.

Yep, that is what I am talking about. The one I got is a dull silver color and the parts guy says it is a paint to match piece. I just thought they were molded in the correct color...
