This exactly why the "Front seat full recline mod" was required right from the get go.! LOL Too funny errrrr true Brother!

I always go a little over board with cleaning. From Q-tips, toothpicks, cotton balls, tooth brush and duct tape on the inside. Clean the dash, doors, everything plastic, metal and leather, the air vents, clean in, on and around every button, clean and condition all the leather, clean the glove box, inside the center console, scrub the pedals, clean underneath the dash and of course vacuum, a light shampooing and vacuuming again. Headliner and trunk too. I'm sure I'm leaving stuff out. Not that any of it ever actually gets dirty, but I still do the big clean a few times a year.

At 6'3", you are correct. I can't do the backseat. I'm not even going to try! My 5'0" wife handles the backseats and everything else back there.

But mainly, anywhere there is paint, it's the washing, drying, clay barring, polishing with a good buffer, doubling up on sealant, and waxing. Most of that goes for the wheels too. Clean the engine bay, the underside of the car. All that fun stuff.

Then drive it 6 hours later and feel like I mess it all up. But I give it a quick wipe off with a little Sonax or some distilled water in a squirt bottle after a ride and it's all good.

Gpskinzhut- I’ve been having the same burning oil smell issue for the past couple months and it’s been getting progressively worse as well. Did you notice any oil on the ground? I’ve looked around and underneath, but have not located any sort of leak. Smell is driving me nuts!!

Not sure if we’re talking about the same detailing

Yep. Couple of stains and quarter sized spots. It's a common issue apparently.

Looks like you have some T-storms today & the next couple days.

I’ll trade ya that for low-30’s & snow.

All summer was dry and now it is fall and we still got 90's and summer T storms. I am ready for colder weather.

Unfortunately I had to already put it away for the season. I'm having shoulder surgery Fri and by the time I'm healed up and able to do everything needed to put it away... there will be snow and salt around here.

Hope your surgery goes well tomorrow (today)

Today I've done a small interior mod in preparation to the elections... a steering wheel cover. Please pardon the image quality, colors and the overall look are way better in real life.

Thx...! I'm sure all will go well. I'll be left handed only for a few weeks, but I'll manage.

Like the USA themed cover..!

The one good thing about putting the car and bike up for the winter is they both are like new toys again in April. Love "unwrapping them"
