Need tires for New HRE Wheels

I am looking into getting new tires for a new set of wheels I just bought. I am looking for the best tire for your dollar. Was quoted pretty reasonable amount for the yokohama V105 and considering it but read some bad reviews from quite a few years ago. Not sure if they have improved or not.

The wheels are 20x10 for the front and 20x11 for the rear. I was thinking of 285's front and 305's rear.

Please let me know what you guys have found to be a good highway tire. The odd quick drag here and there.

Have you considered the same tires that are on the ZL1?

I would have no issues with those at all.

That’s the exact wheels I just bought. In tarmac.

I’m getting mine wrapped in satin dark grey this week. Wheels will be on next week hopefully. I think the picture you have is one of the cars I found to help me pick the wheels. Too funny.

I'm a Michelin guy too so I'd certainly recommend that route.

I am in the same boat.
Have new wheels waiting for the spring and need rubber.
Lots of choices. But lots of compromises.
Sticky tires for straight line. Suck on road or wet.
Track tires same, great when hot on a track not so great around town.

So I have come up with 2 choices. The PS4 and Conti ExtremeContact.

Find the best pricing and pull the trigger.

2017 Camaro SS 1LE here with HRE FF04 in Tarmac with MP4S on them in the OEM 1LE/ZL1 tire size.

Best setup ever to run. So much that I may down the road order another set of rear wheels to put some Nitto NT555r or the Toyo R888r tires on the wheels. 650rwhp and the MP4S have a hard time maintaining traction.

The PS4S is the best all-around Summer tire available on the market, hands down.

The original colour is silver. I’m looking forward to seeing it all wrapped and the HRE wheels on it.

the tires are the most important performance (and safety) item on the car, it's one area I cannot really suggest going cheap on. I have some HRE's on the way with mich ps4s's. they are half an inch narrower than your setup though. I will have 275/35 and 295/35. I *think* I've seen folks running 285/30 and 305/30 on your wheel size, but do some more research for sure.
