Will they fit?
Hey guys,
I am looking to get some Firestone Indy 500 tires and I have 50th anniversary rims. I know the rims are 20x8.5 and rears 20x.9.5. My question is, is it possible to go 305/30R20 in the rear and 285/30R20 in the front? Thanks for anyone who has input on this! |

Physically possible . . . probably.
Advisable . . . absolutely not. The SS 1LE runs those tire sizes on wheels that are 1.5" wider (10" & 11") for very good reasons. 9.5" for the 285/30 and 10.5" for the 305/30 are the narrowest wheel that you should be considering. Norm

Actually I must have (just looked). But it was never flagged to my attention with an emailed notice or a pop-up like I've got PM's set to do, and no PMs were showing as 'unread' at the top right
