You aren't following correctly, just like you weren't in the previous posts. If you can't follow what's going on, move on please. This is another separate issue from the electrical issues, the lost communication between the accelerator and engine, and a check engine light. This is issue number 4, which is some type of internal engine issue. Tech thinks it is a connecting rod/wrist pin issue from what I was told today.

I was driving along about 60 or so, and suddenly had no accelerator. Pushed it all the way to the floor 3 or 4 times and nothing. Luckily I was not on a thruway at the time. I pulled over and shut the car off. I restarted the car, and everything worked fine. I reached my destination and called my dealer, and then called Chevy's customer service line to file a complaint(1700 miles now) and asked for the vehicle to be replaced. The paperwork from my first repair hasn't even been filed yet, and now there is a second. Dealer sent someone to my work to drop off a loaner and drive my car back to the dealership. Again, very disappointed in the initial quality of this vehicle and now absolutely do not trust the reliability. Can't wait to see what kind of ride this is going to be..... I don't know if there are other 2019's out there having issues or not, but it looks like I am one of the lucky bastards to have them....UGH.....
So let me get this straight. You've had 4 separate "perceived" issues on your 19'. Immediately after the second issue you "called Chevy's customer service line to file a complaint". Now it looks like engine failure. You are calling for a buy back?

Sorry, but on this rare occasion, Im with Nsxmatt . Not buying it.
It screams buyers remorse, and exaggerated accounts.
Even if its not, at VERY best you have 2 separate issues.
The first 3 are directly related.
Second issue being the latest "engine failure", and that may be a result of the actual failure.
All 4 issues could simply be considered functions of the core HMI. So good luck.

It's fine for you to think what you like. This whole situation has turned out to be so rediculous that it's hard to believe it's true, but it is what it is. I have all the documentation from the dealer and all of my conversations with the GM warranty rep have also been documented. I love the car and have no remorse, except for getting a car filled with electrical issues and now mechanical issues with the engine. Documentation states all issues are not related to each other. This is coming from mechanics who work on these vehicles daily. It's their job to diagnose and fix issues. Should I not believe what they're telling me?

Um... this is exactly what you posted. Are you caught up in your stories so much you don't remember what you told everyone? You said the car just shut off, now you are saying it's has a connecting rod failure? There is no way, NO WAY a connecting rod just came apart without any noise or problems leading up to it. Like was said, it's buyers remorse and you went out and finished the job. You're playing like you don't know what happened but you do. Normally I wouldn't care but you're on here spreading false rumors about a car which can strike fear in others that there is a bigger problem which there is not. You already have buy back in your signature like it's already happened. I honestly hope GM calls for the ECU logs and shows what happened and it turns customer pay on you.

Again, you can believe what you want. The car finished itself off, not me. The car was running like shit before it just shut down. I could tell it wasn't running right but could not hear the knocking while driving. The exhaust tone was different from normal but I thought it was because of it running so crappy. Had no idea it had an internal issue until a service guy started the car the next day in his repair bay. I have nothing to hide. I hope GM takes it back to Detroit and lets the engineers tear it apart. Hopefully it will lead to producing better quality vehicles. False rumors? LOL...how safe would you feel if you had this car, even if all necessary repairs were completed? Again, you can go bury your head in the sand and ignore what you want. The facts are all there. I have absolutely nothing to gain from "spreading false rumors" as you say. THE CAR IS A LEMON plain and simple.

Why would he come on here and spend all these hours documenting the story if it wasn't true. Doesn't make any sense. He got a poorly put together car with multiple issues and he's getting a new one. Sounds like a win to me. I hope the new one is perfect. Thanks for sharing your story. I think we were all hoping it was an easy fix but obviously it wasn't.

Possibility...but still waiting for all of this to play out. Engine is being pulled tomorrow. GM will not move forward until a complete diagnosis is completed. Dealer and GM have spent the past week squabbling over what to do next and if dealer will be paid for the needed tear down. So it basically has sat for almost 2 weeks and not gone forward. GM is also supposed to be sending an engineer to look at the car as well. We shall see.....

Hope things get settled Riverside. A car in the shop over x # days qualifies for a buyback depending on your state. Certainly a new long block would be my demand.

I love my SS M6

NYS lemon law is starting to come into the picture now if necessary. Law states fourth repair for same issue or 30 days or more for multiple issues in 24 months/18000 miles warrants replacement or full refund. According to my documentation I am at 37 days of the car being at the dealership for repairs, and counting. I am going to see what is offered to me before going down that road. GM knows I know about the law so hopefully there will be a resolution soon and I won't need to take the legal road. I'm willing to give them a chance to make it right first.

Sorry to hear about all the issues you're having. Sounds like a good time to make that deal on the ZL1 and cut your losses.
