Same.

Good to know. But you’re just using the square KN filter?

Decided to get rid of my Camaro, my AIRAID MIT is up for sale if anyone is interested. Didn't get the chance to test it.

How much are you asking for it?

I switched out to the Airad intake and removed all clamps and tubes. Installed the K&N filter and big difference in throttle response. I can't tell any difference in the sound from the engine but I could not help but to spray some throttle valve cleaner into the intake and clean up, yuk.

I'm really surprised there is no sound difference inside the car with the sound tube deleted. Makes me wonder if it's completely useless as a noise enhancer. Increased throttle response would be a great bonus since these cars have a very mushy like response stock

I installed mine the other day and removed the sound tube and to me its quieter on the inside. I will see how my solo exhaust sounds next week. I purchased the SOLO quad with x pipe and the J piped... its the first one they have build for the 6th gen V6

This is how I thought it would be. Otherwise there would be no point of having the sound tube. Thanks for the feedback

Just installed mine last week; It is definitely louder with my Borla ATAK Axle-backs.

However recently I've gotten some knocking/a small jerk forward periodically in low throttle so I am nervous..
Not sure if its the 87 octane fuel with more air dirtying it up, or moisture, or what. Anyone care to explain?
