Best daily driver tires for 520+whp for rainy&shiny FL

Best daily driver tires for 520+whp for rainy&shiny FL?

I am currently running NT555 G2 285 w/ 305 for the front and rear, and I get sideways rolling from 1st gear, and the traction control light comes on every shift when going full throttle.

I know I know! I am not expecting these tires to work well for my setup, that's why I am considering new tires that will work better.

Thank you!

I'd say Michelin PS4S.

You’re gonna have a tough time finding that balance. Getting it to hook on a roll even with full bolt ons is a challenge. I live in Florida also and I have determined that I will likely be getting some R888R’s. I don’t drive often when I’m in the states and if I do when it starts raining, I’ll just drive extra careful. Besides, the fastest road I have in my local area is a 55mph zone.

PS4S, they do well even with 650rwhp when it is hot enough outside for them to warm up fully.

PS4S has been the best tire I used so far, but even they are not enough for the first two and part of third...

I'm sure the PS4S is a great tire. But I NEED rear traction...I've been debating between the Toyo R888R or the Nitto 555R Drag Radials. I know the Nittos hook as I use them at the track. The Toyo's are at least $100 more each. They corner better..but not as good from a dig. I don't race on a road course so I'm going with the Nitto 555R's.

555r...drive nice, work in the rain, and hook. They last about 10k miles if you are not beating on them every light(I have even seen reports of 15k miles but I think that is a stretch). Being you are in Florida I wouldn't even think twice about running them. on 47 degree roads I was out pulling 3.4-3.5 0-60's like it was a bracket car with bolt-ons and e85. With run flats it wouldn't hook under 40 in those temps.

The Nitto 555 G2's are good in the rain.

I so want to run the 555r's but because I went with a 275/35 front and the fact that the 555r's in a 305 only come in a 35 profile it would certainly cause my Stabilitrack/abs to have a fit and require turning off Traction control every time I drove the car.

According to tiresize.com the Rear circum. would be 89.2 and the front 86.6 making the rear 2.6in taller than the front which im sure would exceed the limited difference were allowed between the two.

check your math again. It's not even close to 2.6 inches taller. Circumference and diameter are 2 different measurements.

275x35x20 is 27.6" stock diameter
305x35x20 is 28.4"

it's like 3/4" taller than the front and does not cause any stabilitrack issues.
