I must be the rare exception. I've had my ZL1 for more than 6 years now, drive it daily in the summer, and haven't gotten a single parking lot ding yet.
Whenever I take it shopping, I park right along and among all the other cars. Often I may pick a spot that has an empty spot on either side of me, but it's not to avoid others from dinging my car, it's simply easier on me when opening these long doors. |

All I can say is <sigh> . . . . . I even did what my wife calls "exercise parking". I parked way out on the far end of the parking lot.
