Locking lug nuts are cheaper than theft of your 1LE wheels! LOL

Any of the spline / locking lug nuts require special socket. Not a big deal if you are responsible enough to keep it where you can find it.

Car is parked in my garage, and when I park it out in public, it's only for a few minutes.
Dents and scratches are a bigger concern than wheel theft.

I've seen wheel lock keys break, wheel locks strip out.

I just personally prefer a lug nut, simple yet effective.

I've been using the black lugs I received along with my Tire Rack winter wheel/tire set. They use a 19mm hex, so they also fit my MRR track wheels.

Sounds good. Wouldn't have thought there were 2 other 1LE's so close by.

I second the McGard. Pricey, but I think they have a premium look and feel to match the price. Tough to see in photos, but the edges are super crisp and the finish is really nice.

I love the McGard but it drives me nuts that they sell them in packs of 4 making you buy an extra package. Does anyone have the Amazon link to the Gorilla locks black ones? The links provided in this thread says they do not fit Camaro?

This. Gorilla lugs are top notch. Don't cheap out and go the ebay route for black lugs. Most of those no-name lugs are just painted black and the finish comes off as soon as you install them with an impact gun.

Ok perfect! I am going Gorilla for sure. I just wanted to make sure before I ordered them. Thanks!

More of a flat black oxide, that said they look 10X better than the silver.

I'm actually leading towards the black covers, half the cost and looks just as good in the pics.

I used a set of Gorilla locks from Phastek. They work excellent and look WAY better than the stock chrome!
