It’s really sharp. Easily one of the better gripping tires I’ve experienced. Are you still making stock power or are you planning on building the engine?

This has to be the most popular topic on the site and think you will find that it's a dead heat between the MPS4S and Nitto NT555RII for best street/track tire

Running the same wheel and tire size with nitto nt555r2, they’re great even with being supercharged so they’ll be more than enough if you’re stock!

on my 2011 2ss I replaced the OEMs with Continental Extreme Contacts. I was very pleased with them and they had +50k when I traded her in. Quiet, good traction and good wear. Id buy them again when its time.

If price is not a consideration then the PS4s are the way to go for a street car. The best tire for the $$ however is probably the Firehawk Indy 500. Great price and excellent performance. Can't find a negative review of them. They're 95% as good as the PS4 for nearly half the price. Been running them for years.

Recently just replaced them with a set of nitto g2's. They've got great traction but lots of road noise. The 555r's are excellent but will wear out very quickly.

I ended up going with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ on my SS.

Notice no difference from the Eagle F1 run flats that came with it in terms of handling and such. Feel fantastic. Quite a bit quieter and a decent thread life to boot. They grip great and while I have yet to have warm/hot weather with them, they have been really awesome in the cooler weather since I got the car.

Very happy with them so far. Time will tell as I rack up the miles.
