LOUD Thudding when acceleration? Differential rubber mount broken?

Hey guys! I'm attaching some pics (can't upload a video) that show the problem and the possible solution?

My 2010 camaro ss makes super loud thudding noise when I accelerate from a high RPM. As I climb the RPM's the thudding continues but not as intense.

I took it to a shop and they believe it may be caused do to a "rear differential rubber mount of the differential cover" (check the video for the cracks).

I'm a bit skeptical on this. The thudding seems to come from the front. Not back (could be misleading idk). They also say I can't buy the bushing separately, that I have to buy the entire back cover, bushings and bearings from OEM, is that true?

-What do you guys think?
-Can I buy just that one piece, after market perhaps?
-They want to charge 580, is that reasonable?
-Has anyone had any problems like this, if so do you think its actually what they say it is?
