Right Bank Blowing oil
Last few trips to the track, there has been some oil blowing (unsure from where) but it ends up on the right valve cover, then ends up making its way to the exhaust where the oil smokes up. I replaced the PCV valve and added a catch can but didn't help. Stock power 17 SS1le.
I did lose C2 last year due to lifter/rod failure, but it has been fine until a few months ago... only happens at track speed. Looking for a shop, but just wondering if anyone has had this issue and maybe it's an easy fix? TIA |

The dip stick tube had a crack in it, probably from when a dealer did c2 work last summer...

They used an uv smoke machine to see where it was coming from.
$29 part, but looks like you have to remove the header.... so... Great time to add long tubes, e85 and a tune! Last edited by jeremy71; 07-28-2022 at 11:19 AM. Reason: added data |
