I am going through the pushrod measurements with my my johnson 2116LSR right now, and the numbers I am getting are much longer than I expected. On base circle of the intake it takes 17 turns on my Comp 7702-1 length checker giving me effectively 7.650 base pushrod length for zero lash. Add in .035 for preload and that puts me at 7.685 PR lenght when my pat g cam came with 7.4 reccommendations.

Going in a ERL Superdeck 6 M5 with PRC 255 heads milled down to 69cc and bare minimum resurfacing. Just curious if the Johnson seat height is that much lower for the recommendations to be that far off?

Bringing back this tread here regarding the install and preload of Johnson LSR 2116, just want to pick your brain on how you set up your 2116. We are having a hard time to get the PR length right. Also did you notice any excessive valve train noise?
