I bought a spare on eBay. So I still have an untouched spare.

You can take a sharp putty knife, heat red hot with a torch or heat gun, and then slice off the glue tabs on the back of the steering wheel SS emblem. A clean surface cut. (There will be little rectangular holes remaining, and enough meat left on the part to pop it back in place).

Then wrap it, then, press the snap the piece back in its place. it will be a much cleaner look.

You could glue, but I't holds okay without any glue (and lets you interchange if you have a "Fifty" and an "SS" version). I prefer the red SS.

Here is my original wrapped piece, as well as a photo of the backside so you can see the glue tabs. This was my first cut before I had it all hydrodipped.

Yes. And airbags are really no brainers once you've done it once.

For those curious about the head unit app, I think I might have found what they were using. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/dash...321293183?mt=8

This looks like it displays on an iPad, vs the display. Let us know what you learn post purchase.

If I get something like this, then it will be down the road a bit. I was just curious because I liked the look as well. This video makes me think it works with screen mirroring though:
