None of the local dealers have even been notified of this event. There has been no local media supporting the event either. Makes me wonder how non car enthusiasts can even be aware of it. If Mark hadn't notified us we would only have known about it by visiting various threads on Camaro5. Maybe they invited lots of current owners of the other new cars being displayed tonight.
With that said, Chevrolet sent me a VIP invitation and other than being at the reveal and CamaroFest, why me? If you have not seen the 6th gen. in person yet I think you are going to be really suprised at this remake of our favorite car. It is definitely not your fathers Camaro anymore. Now someone stop the rain and bring out the sun!

Nice meeting you guys.

Just to let you guys know, just talking to Paynemaker, if you remember his wife had a couple mini strokes a couple months back. All is well with them. Maybe a chance for celerating. They upgraded to a SS.Congratulations on both Don and Heather. See you guys soon

Not much food but lots of C5er's. really good to see many of our group at the Chevy show Wed. nite. Nice Camaro's there. I like some of the new Specs like the light show of the interiors.

I got the update last week and the first time I tried it, it was really creepy, but now it's just awesome! it stays in the lane, slows down when it approaches a car, changes lanes when prompted, tells you when to take over if it can't read the lines on the road because they are missing or faded. This car has lots of smart features. Take a ride in one if you haven't, think you'll enjoy it.
