Sct tuner issue

When I try to update my tuner the computer says please connect sct device, but it's already plugged in. Last time I used it was a year and a half ago and it worked fine. Anyone know what the problem might be? I tried deleting the program and re-downloading. That didn't fix it.

Try a different USB port.

Tried a different cord and it's working but when I went to check for updates I got this message.

I'd hit up Steve @ RDP. He could more than likely help you.

I got the same message. I already had my stock tune saved so I just ignored it and updated it. Even after the update the stock tune was still in there.

Ok thanks I'll try it.

And file is intact? No corruption, as it were? Find it strange that one would need to put the car back to stock, just to do an update on the tuner.

No issues at all. I had my stock tune saved on my computer anyway so I really didn't care about the message. After the tuner updated though the stock tune was still there intact.
