I really like 2nd gen camaros and that lt4 with a six speed makes it pretty awesome.

I have a buddy that just had an LT4/8 speed installed in his 1969 Chevelle SS. It's scary fast. |

I have a nearly identical 71 pro touring car - currently with a old school SBC. I am running budgets on a EFI swap and considering a LT4. That would be a pretty sweet set-up - my car also has the tremec magnum 6 speed.
It would be about $18K net after selling the SBC, and I can do a built LS3 making ~580-590hp NA for pretty close to half that amount so I am leaning in that direction. But I haven't ruled it out. 71Cam8 by C4RACER, on Flickr |
