I installed those same motor mounts and I didn’t have to remove my headers. I will say though, after install I went from terrible wheel hop to zero wheel hop

Yup i did just that
I used a piece of 2 x 4 in between the jack & the oil pan
So i my mind the wood acted as a cushion so that it would flex where the metal wouldn’t have from the Jack and maybe would’ve hurt the pan

Did the same. Already had my top end torn down, but wood on the pan and jacked it up. Wasnt too bad

I didnt. Just wasnt sure if i wanted the extta vibration. Changed so much just wanted to wait and see. Probaly will do it eventually

I have heard stories of people cracking their bellhousing by going to a solid motor mount without upgrading the trans mount as well, my issue is that I will be going the way of a TH400 eventually so I am leary of throwing money away on a 6L80 mount just to swap it out anyway. Decisions, decisions

I read the same, but couldnt find anyone who actually had it happen. And Im running BMR poly so a touch more forgiving than a solid. Guess I'll test it and see what happens lol.
