HUD Windshield Replaced

Hey folks,

Recently got my windshield replaced (this morning) with (what I assumed was) GM OEM glass. I have a 2SS with the Head-Up-Display. After the replacement, I immediately check the HUD, since folks on this forum informed us all about the complications of using non-OEM glass on HUD cars. And what do you know? I've now got a slight double-vision going on (see below).

My installer assured me they've gone out of their way to procure OEM glass, and given the etching (see below) it appears they've found the correct glass.

But alas, double-vision regardless.

Unsure what to do from here. Any advice?
Thanks,

Imho, they should replace it again. Whether it's oem glass or not, the fact is it's blurry now and it wasn't before. Seems pretty clear cut.

Perhaps OEM has both with and without HUD?

The etching on the glass does say "HUD"...

I appreciate the post KindaOrange, great tip for anyone with a HUD and windshield replacement. Yours definitely needs a swap. Quality Control was asleep at the factory that day.
