These tires have noticeably more grip over Michelin Super Sports. You can not do much better than these on a street tire. I love these tires and highly recommended.

Do they pickup rocks like the factory Goodyear G2's?

Probably similar. I have not done a side by side comparison regarding this but any UBER SUPER STICKY tire will tend to pick up small rocks.

It's funny I just bought some Rivals today to do some Auto X and when I went out to look at them the were tacky to the touch. This is before they even have any heat into them and just off the rack.

Rivals are good from what I have heard. From what I have been told from folks who have knowledge though, in auto x at least the super sports are better and faster the the rivals and what guys are all going to in our race team. Guess it all depends on the application.

285x35x20 on all four corners. Need a spacer for the front. Use them for AutoX also and they work great. Less than 5000 miles. Probably closer to 3000. I went from the GForce Comp II's to these. Much better. If they keep performing I'll buy them again. Be nice if they came in a 19 becasue I want to change my wheels to a 19 and want the proper offset to ditch the spacers. No problems with them tho (the spacers).

Rivals are faster in any application I have ever seen.

I'll get more feedback on them. One guy has them out here, the rest dont, have supersports as they are better street tires in the rain, overall better then rivals unless its for a track only car I guess

Depends. Rivals have better dry performance. Super Sports have better wear and wet performance. So you could say the Super Sports are more well rounded for a street tire. However the Rivals have better wet performance than most expect. Hydroplanning in heavy rain with the Rivals can be an issue but you would just need to slow down.

My statement above should of read the Rivals are faster in any DRY situation I have seen.

Yeah, better overall performance is what I want. No rival cars have beat super sports out here and are good enough for my needs

That doesn't mean the super sports are better. There is a lot Joe tio winning an autocross than tires. I have a feeling those cars would win with either tire.

Rudy, the Michelin's are far superior in the rain and that I heard from someone high up from BFG, who said the Rival's can be scary in the rain...further the Rival's don't have their own compound, they are borrowing from the Michelin line from what I have heard, different carcass and tread pattern...I've seen more people try the Rivals and take them off and go back to the Pilot SS or Falken Azeni 653's....so while I am sure it works for some, it aint the greatest tire out there, unless you got them for free like most of the people that push the tire...
