Replacing Trunk Weatherstrip
So I have with me a brand new weather seal from GM
I thought it would be as easy as removing and replacing however the seal is all one piece and there's the trunks harness cable in the way. Does the cable have to be removed or will the weather strip just come off by pulling around the trunk? I know it's a dumb question but I haven't seen much if any info on how to replace it. |

Also do you need to use the seal glue. It seems GM didn't because mine is tacky and pulls up which I like. I don't want it to be permenetly bonded I bought the 3M black weathstrip adhesive but it's permenent I think.
