I daily my 1LE and it is in exactly that mode every single time. The only caveat is, I always have active rev matching turned on, too. Outside of that, the only thing that gets changed is the exhaust mode when there are cops around.

Steering always in Tour. The heavier settings don't provide any more feedback. Reduced effort means I can have more delicate steering inputs on track to balance the car.
Suspension tour on street, sport on smooth back roads, track on track. Exhaust tour on highway, sport otherwise, track on track. |

And PTM Race on track. I am just careful until the tires have heat and pressure built up.
