The more I think about it the more I think this may in fact be a new distinct 1LE model since the only body work change is the hood and front facia along with the rocker panel flair plus I would expect the Z/28 and ZL1 to have more rear down force and tires.

sorry, can you explain the implications of this type of hood? Other than too me it says SuperCharger, but IDK, maybe useful in NA applications as well?

Come on now, this thread is for believers in the ZL1. BTW, I believe the last 1LE was inspired by the ZL1, at least it took some components from the ZL1, not the other way around.

You could be right, I just hope you are wrong. Also, the 5th Gen 1LE's front clip didn't really change at all over the SS, 1LE is in fact a package add on to the SS, the change we are seeing in this new variant of 6th Gen is not just a package.

wishful thinking maybe.
I'm pretty sure I can hear it at these two marks as well. At about :02 and :32. Maybe even a little bit at :18.

The ZL1 will be a monster when it arrives but I just don't think this is the car, but I could be totally wrong. Either way this thing is wickedly fast and balanced.

I was just bringing the hood to the front line. Not really speculating on the FI/NA possibilities, just like the way they are going with the hood design. However, we have seen extravagant hood designs with the S/C ZL1 before, so this may be a sign...

Snagged a bunch of stills at the highest rez I could get. Can see the hood much better in some of these.

I should also note.... the brakes and rotors look different from the shots we saw yesterday. These look like Z/28 style rotors and brakes.

There is a lot more venting for the LT-4 on both the CTS-V hood and the Z06 hood.

I don't hear much whine either but I'm thinking we won't be able to here it from those camara angles. I have no doubt this is the ZL1. Looks crazy fast!

The hood on the CTS V2 had ZERO hood venting. I'm sure the vent on this car is more then enough for the Lt4
