Care to share the cost for this build? If not, totally understandable. In any case, it’s gonna be bad a$$. Also, with all the hype About the oil pumps failing, maybe it would be a wise choice to have them replace it with the Kaytech one while they’ve cut the engine pulled and opened up

I'm guessing the shop meant 2.3 upper as that seems the standard, think its about 10% overdrive. I'll second JSH in doing the lower over the upper pulley. Going smaller means you could have belt slip, bigger lower means more meat for the belt to bite on. Plus you get the added benefits of a lower weight balancer. I would port the snout at minimum to get the benefits from the big gulp and 103tb, if not do the whole supercharger if you plan on sticking with it. Add some ethanol and you will get a nice bump in power also

Third on the lower, if you are already putting cam you will want to go bigger later on. Lower will be much easier to change out once you want to change boost level plus less belt slip.

Honestly...would any of you mind hopping on a zoom with me sometime? I'm new to the whole building thing. I'm no mechanic, I just know the mods I went for should be safe and reliable (my goal, no race car or anything) if all the supporting mods are there and installed right. I'd really appreciate it, and could venmo you for your time.

Would you measure your upper to confirm its size? WeaponX says 2.50" is OEM

Car should be entirely stock. Bought it still with the factory powertrain warranty in tact so should be stock. If it was modded at anytime I'm sure my warranty would've been voided.

Guy just called back. All parts but the pulley should be in next week. Slated For an Install of mid - late June.

Parts have all the supporting equipment.

He thinks I should be safe running stock boost level with that 2.3

Really couldn't answer that for sure, my builder told me lower is better for the reasons stated. You would probably be fine i just can't answer definitively. Car will be a hoot either way. Also that seems to be pretty good price for the mods imo

JSH, almost 100% sure 2.5 is stock size upper because they put a griptec pulley on the blower while it was getting ported and I told them I wanted stock size.

You are correct. The 2.5 is stock. I requested stock from Kong and got a 2.5.
