Exclamation WEAPON-X: PSA - Balancers need double keyed for high HP!

I wanted to make sure you guys were aware that if you're targeting 900 crank HP aka 750whp ish, these aftermarket aluminum balancers need double keyed. We've never had an issue till this week but had an 1100whp F1X C7Z crack the hub and my 1100whp/wtq compound boost ZL1 both cracked the hubs and were wobbling and slinging oil. The Z06 started throwing belts a couple weeks ago and we were chasing that for a couple days, but it wasn't until we noticed it start slinging oil out of the crack in the hub that we looked more closely. Initial thought was the front seal, but after we pulled it, we found the culprit!

This isn't just a problem with one, but I've seen all of them crack lately. Aftermarket cranks will have the dual keyway, but OEM cranks will need keyed, which makes it more difficult for the "stock block" guys.

We offer the IW balancers double keyed here:
