I fought this problem too years ago. I cleaned, lubed, and changed out parts all over. Best fix is to pry the shim off the back of the brake pad, lube it with caliper grease, and then reassemble the pad. This helps reduce the vibration transfer as you apply the brakes. Also lube the pins and the pots.
