yeah parts is tricky. german ebay is pretty good. or it's that dreaded import duty.
mustang lol..owned a few. s197 is just a 1976 mk3 cortina lol. drives like one aswell. s550 drives just like a sierra. they seem to love them though. i'll never own another one that's for certain

Drizzle and mud on a country road and driving 100+ miles each day don't help. Getting cleaned this morning

To be fair, these guys looked like they were near their 80s. Aside from their age, seemed like there were C8s everywhere and it made my ZL1 seem that much more rare. As for the 3M install, my installer left a few air bubbles. I don't think he clay barred as the salesman claimed he would. The car already had some imperfections when I received it, so I don't know how well he could've done without some really hard paint correction work (yes I understand we're not supposed to call it that anymore... ) I would go over the parts that you're getting done with a clay bar, or at least make sure you have it really clean. Looking forward to some pics. |

Boomers aren't the ones neccesarily buying C8s you know...... I'd love to have one, but once again GM in their infinite wisdom screws anyone tall from ever owning a Corvette. Hell, I'd prolly have C5 fleet right now if I could fit nicely. But 1LE for the win, I love my 21 in Crush. If I ever have to redo my hoodwrap(we all know I will lol) I know where it's going. It's a large flat non complicated surface, so there shouldn't be issues with air bubbles or ripples. |

Oh definitely, but the guys emerging from the C8s I saw at the dealership were definitely in that demographic, or had a short life of elicit drug use. For me the ultimate factor was the availability of a manual transmission. I'm glad the C8 wasn't offered with one as that would've made the decision much more difficult. |

Out and about yesterday. Took the wife to Hobby Lobby. Came out to find another Z in the lot. Get to the car, hear that LT4 fire up and turn and hear “hey it’s another one!” Waves and thumbs up ensued.

But, I was also looking at the Roll Bar with rear seat delete kit. I figure I can fit maybe 2 x 10" subs in a custom built box after the seat delete.
