You're taking 1st gear all the way to redline?

Exact same thing happens to me. Upgraded to a Spec Stage 2 and short throw shifter, still happens. I also changed out the tranny fluid to royal purple like people recommended and still nothing. How much is it to fix a synchro? I am curious as well

Royal purple is a good start, but the IDEAL GARAGE master cylinder upgrade- here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=Ideal+Garage, and JDP's separate reservoir- here http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236850, was what it took to get rid of my V6 grind.

If your synchro is too far gone it can't be fixed by these upgrades, but if you don't do them I'm afraid your next synchro will just suffer the same fate. Try the fixes first, maybe its not too late!
