New camaro came with two small dents on rear bumper

Just picked up my 2022 2ss from the dealer and I'm absolutely in love. Unfortunately, I noticed two small dents on the rear bumper when I got home. I thought I did a pretty decent inspection at the dealership, but obviously wasn't diligent enough. I think I was just too excited to get it home They aren't terribly noticeable unless you see them from the right angle thankfully.

The dealer told me to let them know if I see anything wrong with the vehicle so I'm hoping I can take it up to them tomorrow and get some help. Has anyone ever seen anything like this here before or have any ideas what would cause it? Also just looking for some input on what to say to the dealer if they don't want to replace the entire bumper for relatively small dents. Image attached. Thanks!

My bumper has the same "bumps", and so does every single one I've seen. These are probably molding marks from manufacturing. Don't embarrass yourself with the dealer

Wow that surprised me to read but I did some more digging and sure enough they are totally normal and apparently for euro plates. Definitely wish they weren't there but less bummed out now anyways. Thanks!

Oh wow... I had never noticed that on mine... I went to check my car, and indeed they're there, but they're nowhere near as obvious as they are on your picture!

I first thought it might be for European license plates, but it appears to only be on the left side, not on the right, so it's probably not it.

My 2022 ZL1 has them. Most other Camaros too. UGH!

Every time I drive my Corvette and Camaro and see this kind of "stuff", I remind myself that you're paying for what you don't see... big performance bang for the buck! Makes me feel better anyway.

guides for euro plates make sense. I noticed them too. probably better to have the dimples than let dealer line it up "by eye"

I think I had the exact same reaction at the dealership. Once I saw the car there was no going back, and it wasn't until I got home (500km away), that I stood there and said what the heck are those?!

They honestly drive my ocd crazy, being that they're only on the one side and are super noticeable (at least to me).

Thanks everyone for solving the mystery. Now if anyone can solve how to make them stop being so noticeable, that would be great too!

Let your car get dirty and don't wash it?
