GEN 6 2021 LT1 Camaro upgrades
Hey guys
So I have a 2021 LT1 Camaro which is stock right now. So I went to the tune shop and they told me that If I want to gain some reliable HP I should go with this setup. psc1 pro charger KIT with 8PSI It comes with upgraded injectors, quiet helical gears, race bypass valves and larger intercooler. KOOKS: Long tube headers catless GT Haus American roar exhaust system LT4 high pressure fuel pump + Tune and trans tune. But everything else we are going to keep it stock so all the internals are going to be stock. They said I will be pushing around 600-620 whp and it should be a safe zone for my car but I read a lot in forums that with stock internals there is a big chance blowing off the motor and etc. So you guys think I should build the engine before adding those stuff or I should be fine? They said you can also change the pistons, chromoly push rods and some more stuff that I don't understand. I would like to hear your opinions. Thank you |

What are your intentions for the vehicle? I see you live in California. Just thinking such thoughts could get you in trouble with the authorities much less actually modifying your own private property. I say enjoy the car as is for a bit and research the legalities of future mods.

So if OK with 600ish HP the stock internals are fine. I believe i’ve read up to 650. If your plans are to go past then i would start with the internals.
Bought my SS with a D1sc already on with stock internals and it’s been fine Here’s a link to a CARB legal PC. https://www.phastekperformance.com/P...1gy211-sci.htm No headers, AwE Cat back. Hey thank you so much for your reply.
I felt my car a little too slow and I wanted to go with pro charger and be around 600-620 whp. I don't really daily drive the car and very soon I am going to leave out of CA. But I really appreciate your response. Thank you |
