How many tires can fit in cabin? Answer here

ANSWER: SIX

So, I'm getting ready for a car control/drift event and need to take extra tires & wheels with me. After playing tetris, I've found 6 is the max you can fit inside. And yes, I will be very uncomfortable for this 90 minute drive! Thankfully, I fully intend to wear out these rear tires and will have less luggage for the drive home!

Images as follows:
Inside trunk: 285/30/20 tire
Passenger seat: 285/30/20 tire
Perpendicular behind passenger seat: (2) 305/30/20 mounted on 1LE 20x11
Parallel behind driver seat: (2) 255/45/18 tires (cheap new AS tires used for this event)

Of course, I won't have any left over space for a passenger but at least I can still fit a jack & stand in the trunk. I'll put my personal belongings, helmet and supplies inside the tires too!

Very creative! I'm a little slow this morning - why do you need to take the other four tires with you? I understand the two you intend to burn down but not the others.

^ fair question…

Currently, I have mounted:
Stock 285/30/20 + 20x10 fronts and
All season 255/45/18 + 18x9.5 apex wheels rears

I’m taking the extra 255/45/18 (4 in total) as burners for the event, stock 305/30/20 rear wheel/tires in case the burners are so gone I need stockers to get home, plus fresh 285/30/20 because my mounted set is getting close to cording and I want to get all the life out of them.

Funny to think how many times I might visit the on course tire shop in one day.

That is impressive effort.

Have you thought about doing a rear seat delete? Seems like a good idea in your case.

Impressive but I would recommend cutting through the black plastic wrap so you can see through the one on the passenger seat. It is sketchy to drive around without being able to see the passenger side mirror.
