NEW TIRES!? Request help!

Hi, I have a 2018 SS 1LE Camaro and I need new tires ASAP! Lol what’s a good brand that also aren’t extremely expensive. I prefer to stay away from the stock summer tires because in my opinion they are trash and wear out super quick. Thank you !

I was going to say the stock tires since they are cheapest on tirerack in the stock size and are amazing tires but.. I guess PS4s if you want life at the expense of some performance.

Yup. I think I'm going to be ordering some PS4s soon once the weather warms up. On a related note, I'll have some stock takeoffs for sale soon with less than a mile on them (only driven off the truck and into the dealer's bay).

Goodyear's are a fantastic bargain and a great track tire. Michelin not so much but you will probably like them better on the street. I don't think you will find anyone here who thinks the Michelin is a better track tire..

What type of driving do you do? How many miles do you put on your car in a year?

Tires can make or break a cars performance. You sound like you are after longevity above all else. Within the realm of street driving with occasional spirited driving, most $200 tires with tw of 400+ will feel similar to a $350+ true tw200 racing tire. But once you really start to push the car or if you ever decide to track/autocross the car the cheaper tires will be left behind.

IMO you bought one of the most capable cars in the world at that price point. Don't knock it down a notch with crappy tires.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-71
Kumho ECSTA V720
BF Goodrich Rival 1.5
There's a few other good ones too

No exposure to winter, they were removed as soon as the dealership received the car (I brought them some stock LS wheels to put on). They have been kept in my basement all winter and will stay there.

I received a few PMs already based on my post, when I'm ready to sell in a month or so I will try local first. I'm not sure on a price yet. I'm located in metro Detroit.
