Black stuff near rear diff?
My exhaust has been rattling at idle really bad lately so I went underneath the car to look and I noticed black thick oily stuff on the exhaust the diff and the bottom of the car. Is it possible there’s just a leak in the weld on the exhaust or is this coming from my diff? https://streamable.com/5vw7cr

I’d check to make sure all the axle bolts are still there and tight, it was an issue for v8’s but good to rule that out.
It may be normal but also try to run your finger around the seal and area to see if there’s anything leaking

I have changed my diff fluid several times and never seen that. Is it possible it's CV grease? Maybe you have a hole or split in the CV shaft boot.

Look at the surface directly above the CV joint. That is also sprayed with grease, so I think you have your answer.
