Difference between Sport and touring

Is there a real difference in the Sport mode and Touring mode for the V6 Camaro (non Npp) I can't seem to tell when driving.

sport will hold gears longer to increase how quick it takes off and i believe you have to be in sport for performance shift mode to engage.

Differences in non NPP sport and touring

In sport mode:
1. Throttle a bit more responsive
2. Steering a bit tighter
3. Shifting with automatic in each gear held a bit longer

All these changes are subtle if not downright impossible to feel.

So I'm not the only that doesn't see a big difference. Thanks for the confirmation

Taking a sharp turn in Sport vs Touring will give you a better feel for the difference. I notice the difference in the modes, but I'm sure it depends on the person.

I feel the difference too, especially in the steering. Shifts also seem crisper and more eager in Sport.

I notice a difference between sport and tour. shifts seem more firm and gears are definitely held longer, steering feels tighter

Same here, steering is tighter and gears are held longer.

I have a manual transmission... I feel no difference at all. That snow mode is the only one that changes anything for me. It makes takeoffs sluggish and changes the throttle response.
