Alignment question ZL1 1LE - Camber plates and an alignment shop

I had a few track events coming up so I adjusted the camber plates to track and then took the car to a shop and had them do an alignment per the performance manual specs.

The track sessions went well. I probably will not go back to the track until the fall or winter and will be street driving most of the summer. So, I brought the car back to the alignment shop and had them put it back to standard road specs. After the fact I realised that I never changed the camber plates back from "track" position. Could the shop have adjusted the front alignment enough to get it to the neutral road alignment with the camber plates in the "track" position?

There's a fair bit of adjustment at the knuckle, so maybe. You'd want to look at the printout to really know what it's set to.

Yep, it has a normal eccentric bolt on the bottom of the strut that you can usually get a degree or so of camber from.

Look at the print out. Based on my understanding it would be hard to get the recommended street settings for the front with the "camber plate" in track setting.

There is no eccentric bolt at the front strut. The upper strut hole is slotted and the strut pivots off the bottom bolt. There are threads on the top of the knuckle that when used with the appropriate bolt, will allow fine tuning of the camber.

Eh, does the same thing, there is camber adjustment away from the top plate. Smarter method by GM the way you mentioned, I hate those bolts.

You can get ~ 1 deg camber based on the track and street. So if u were using 3 for track u will be fine with 2. Print out will help
