Tire Question

Alright fellow Gen6 crew,

So, I am looking into a set of UHP All Seasons for my 16' LT W/ RS Package. As everyone knows, the stock Goodyear F1 All Sym. ROF suck major dangle. Now, I wanted to run Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ on my car but they don't have my size for my wheels. I want to keep a square set up and be able to rotate since my car is a daily driver and I don't have the chips right now to buy a beater and so forth.

My question to you guys is if I were to get the Michelin PS A/S 3+ tires in a 255/35/R20, woudl it be that noticable of a smaller tire. According to tirerack by stock replacement tires would be ~27.7 in. Ø vs. the Michelin ~27 in. Ø. I imagine the car would sit ~ .7in. lower also?

Thanks guys, I appreciate y'alls feedback.

It shouldn't matter. Speedo might be very slightly off, that's about it.

Those tires should be good to go in 255/35/20. Plug your tire sizes into here:

Yeah man, sometimes it takes a while to get an answer, or sometimes not at all. We're out there enjoying the drive!

So, I checked on this website you sent me, and the most comparable tire is a 325/30/R20. Now that won't fit my little square set up and my rims but I did notice that the 275/35/R20 is the closest in dimensions. Will it mount a RS Wheel?

I believe 8.5" width wheels for you, so no. Recommended tire size for 275 width tires is 9".

275/35/20 is actually the oem size for the rears on the SS.

Can't decide on UHP All Seasons...

Okay,

So it's apparent this forum was created for us for a reason. We are OCD about our Camaros.

I have done research and called too many places already and have gotten so many mixed suggestions I am back to square one. I can't decide on a solid UHP All Season Tire.

BF Goodrich does not have any G-Force Comp A/S in stock, Michelin doesn't have any Pilot Sport A/S3 + that fit the 245/40/R20, and I never used Continental (DWS06). Are Toyo Proxes 4 any good?

I would greatly apprecaite the feedback.

Thanks everyone!!
