New Garage Rack for Spare Wheels & Tires

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07LCRV77G...ing=UTF8&psc=1

Really impressed with this rack. Installed it today. Max width is 56" and stock ZLE size tires stack to be about 54".

Life with a one car garage...

How do you all store your spare set of wheels & tires?

Nice. I have one like this in my shed, won it at a car show

Thing is solid and if not used can fold away

I was checking that one out as well, but the 48" width limit unfortunately didn't suit my needs.

That looks nice. I went with the hyloft:
https://www.amazon.com/HyLoft-01012-...ef_=ast_sto_dp
I pretty much copied one of the photos in the amazon listing for that rack. I mounted it high and use a block & tackle (also from amazon) screwed into a ceiling joist. I can get tires mounted on wheels up and down without a helper.

I like that rack as well, saw it when doing my research. The max width of 48" was a no go for me, unfortunately. Glad it's working out for you and the pulley system is a great idea. I may explore that once I have wheels in my tires depending on how much trouble I have getting them up there.

My garage setup wasn't going to fit a wall mount like that, i've got my winters tarped under my (enclosed) deck. I stack my summers though in the finished basement for temperature control.

I totally understand you on that 1 car garage. It sucks not have at least a 2 car garage. I have the tire rack one and so far it nice and sturdy. At least your garage is bigger then mine.

I love how easy the picture makes it look to get them up there.

Nice! I didn't even think to check TireRack.

That is something to plan for. I bet even those tires not mounted on wheels can be awkward to get in the rack, particularly the last one.
I have 10 foot ceilings in the garage. The pulley system is great to get the wheels up there, as the bottom of the rack is at about the 7 foot level. But maneuvering them onto the rack requires me to get onto my 6 foot aluminum ladder. The ladder often wants to shift when I am shoving those wheels. The whole ladder only weighs 10-15 lbs.

Bottom of my tire rack is only 5 feet off ground, can only imagine how much fun it would be to load a set of 4 mounted wheels onto it using a ladder

Mine is only about 5 feet off the ground too. Had no trouble loading up just tires. I'm sure it'll be a little more difficult with the weight of wheels + tires, but I don't think it'll be too bad.
