So, you had roughly a three month turnaround time from order placement to delivery? Does your family run GM or something? LOL. That’s awesome but doesn’t seem to be the norm at all. How the heck did you get it so fast?

My dealer had an allocation and they did not waste any time on entering the order and preferencing it. I watched them submit the order that day.


I had some delay due to ‘build shy’ and some small shipping delays, but It was a lot less that many have experienced.
Note: This order was placed over a year ago and things seems to have gotten worse since then, not better.


It’s only my opinion, but it seems to me that most of the horror stories I read here about the order process come down to two causes.

1. Dealer did not have an allocation when they took the order and was not forthcoming about it.

2. Production delays due to constraints or parts shortages.

I am not sure how to deal with number one other than to shop dealers and ask the right questions.

Number two is out of your control.
