HCI response...

This will sound silly but so silly it worked great and you probably won't guess it. I'm not a car first off but My son and I were blacking out everything. One of last were the 4 chrome pieces, 2 each side. I played with some ideas, tried to pry off but they are cheap and didnt know what it may look like underneath. Paint? on that, wouldn't work well. Son came home one day and he said I see you u blacked those pieces out how u manage that, electrical tape!!! Lasted for 5 yrs now. Cut piece right length and put it on and pulled tight so not a wrinkle, then tucked teeny extra behind it. Not one person has looked and noticed it. Even standing right there in sun if you weren't really looking for it u would miss it. I redid them once, doesnt damage car whatsoever and if little chrome pops up at end just use black marker.

Don’t forget to post your time from the test and tune Sunday, we are curious what you end up with.

Real G.....being flip?

15's? You know you replied just to get response from me. I said before I'm 53 and have no desire to take it to a track, Not into cars, just wanted to upgrade it guess cuz I could. If Chevy says and others post, the the stock V6 is 0_60 mph in 5.1, I got around 5.4 few times. They also state 1/4 mile in 13.8. 103mph. So I just increased HP from 335 to 500 atleast, 165 more horses, as Procharger promised, 7psi, and lose few on 1/4 thats just plain stupid. It would have to be getting quite close to a SS, officilally Chevy says 3.9 to 60 but have seen alot of guys trying it and were more like 4.3 to 4.5. There is always one in the bunch...

Just for fun you should try a 0-60 or 1/4 mile run with the onboard timer. My best one time 0-60 was 5.2 with 5.4-5.5 being very consistent

Show us the timeslip, brother. I made an very optimistic prediction on your quarter mile time and want to see the outcome

Was asking too just get some educated guess, it was a hypothetical question. I haven't been to a Edgewater, local drag strip Cincinnati, in atleast 30 years, not interested in racing except watching Nascar!! Lol

Now my 29 yr old is exact opoosite, he is all about cars, he has a 2004 WRX, got from friend cheap and motor went out about year into it but he decided to make it his project. Instead of just buying new car, had the guy put the bigger STI engine in it, new intercooler, and many other things. If people are that interested maybe I could get him to go test it for me see about where its at. Dont exactly trust him, after I got it procharged I said here see what he thought, take for spin. Got on local highway, and there was traffic, I told him no $hit, got off entrance at about 75 then punched it and it took no time to get to 139 scared crap out of me and I havent let him drive it now, lol. Whatever numbers may turn out to be, its as fast as I would ever dare to go. Let you know, I will ask.

That is a shame OP. I think with your mods you could easily surprice some SSes at the strip with practice and tires. But if you are asking only about opinions then you got them. In an optimal drag strip run for both cars you would likely lose. I agree about weight. My LT1 is faster than my 2016 loaded 2SS. And finding that out was big fun. Get off the couch!
